Before moving internationally, I taught for 11 years in the lovely English city of Nottingham. Five years ago, my family and I moved to Guangzhou in China where we have truly appreciated the benefits of an international education and life. For the past three years, I have been teaching at the Nord Anglia British School of Guangzhou. I have throughly enjoyed my time in Early Years there, developing my knowledge of teaching a British curriculum in an International setting.
When applying to teach at ISM, and in particular the Rosinka Campus, I was very excited about its amazing outdoor opportunities for Early Years. I believe in using all elements of the environment around us to help foster children’s natural curiosity for learning. I look forward to becoming part of the community at the Rosinka Campus.
Since moving internationally, I have enjoyed the opportunity to travel and my family and I are eager to explore the city of Moscow and other parts of Russia. Outside of school I like being outside and exploring parks and the countryside. I also enjoy baking cakes, as well as crochet and knitting.
