The pandemic is forcing each of us to reinvent ourselves. A great example of enriching school life took place on Friday 19 February.

Our students at the Nyon campus celebrated Extravagance Day, with fun, laughter and lots of dressing up!

On Tuesday 16 February, various superheroes, princesses, ninjas, astronauts and other characters invaded our primary building - Gérard Payot on our Pully campus to celebrate the Extravagance Day.

Our final year boarding student Atila, who is following the International Baccalaureate section, has received an offer to read Material Sciences at Queen’s College, Oxford.

Several times a week the students of Collège Champittet Nyon take their classes outside.

We are very proud of twenty students from Collège Champittet who attended the first MUN Virtual Conference organized by the British International School Budapest last week.

On Wednesday, February 3, the first half-day of preparation for our STEAM FAIR challenge began. This year, the challenge, launched by Nord Anglia Education, will take our students to faraway places.

Self-esteem is anchored during childhood. Whatever the age a good self-esteem, ensures a good psychological health.

On Thursday 7 January, the exciting new playgrounds were opened at Champittet Pully. These two relaxation areas, which are completely made of wood, are essential for the development of children of all ages.

On the 6th of January, pupils of 9th grade class shared the traditional galette des rois (king's cake). A convivial moment that the children enjoyed.

Every Wednesday, 20 students and two accompanying adults go skiing in the Champéry ski area in Valais.

In the 1st grade class, students learn the alphabet through a playful approach called "the planet of the Alphas" giving the apprentice-readers the opportunity to manipulate one of the basic components of reading, the sound-alphabet link.

Collège Champittet took an advantage of the October break to carry out various renovations on Pully campus.

With Christmas coming soon and in a spirit of generosity, the students and staff of the Nyon campus joined local charity "Gift Box Project".

Several times a year, teachers at Nyon campus meet for the professional training. The theme of this year training was "Forest School".

Well known to school children, parents and teachers in the Canton of Vaud, Switzerland - JOM day is the “Journee Oser les Métiers,” when people are encouraged bring their children to work with them.

Each year, from September to October, the 9th grade classes participate in the International Peace Art Contest organized by the Lions Clubs International.
