How do you choose the right career path?
What decision can we make during GCSEs and A-Levels to build career capital, real industry experience, and transferable skills?
And how, at such a young age, can we even talk about 'careers' - let alone a meaningful choice of one?
These are the big questions that we will be discussing during our
OIC Panel Webinar on
Friday, 20 November, 9:30-11 a.m. UK time. This session is dedicated to prospective students and their parents, as well as educational agents. We will be discussing the importance of
career-oriented education: the key to lighting up a passion and turning it into a satisfying lifelong pursuit.
The speakers on the panel will be:
- Yasmin Sarwar, OIC's Chief Education Officer, who has sent over 250 students to medical school and nearly 500 to Oxford, Cambridge, London School of Economics, and Imperial College London
- Dominic Fuge, Senior Supercurricular Manager, responsible for OIC career provision
- Recent OIC alumni who currently study at Oxbridge
The session will include a presentation and a panel discussion, after which the floor will be open to questions.
Since we cannot guarantee the time to answer them all, please reply to this email to send in your questions ahead of the session.
