Veronica Agamova

I am excited to be a part of the ISM team, experience the welcoming atmosphere and be involved in an international community of skilled professionals. I am dedicated to contributing to the strengthening of inter-cultural bonds within the community, whilst helping to maintain the encouraging and supportive atmosphere for ISM’s students. I believe that a key aspect of modern classroom management is endorsing creativity and individuality, as these are unequivocally crucial skills for the 21st century. I see my purpose as an educator as creating a safe and welcoming atmosphere in the classroom that will allow each student to voice their opinion, without fear of judgment. At ISM, I am eager to learn about the teaching experience of educators from multi-national backgrounds and learn from them in order to improve myself, both professionally and personally. I am interested in researching modern linguistic creativity and the art of the metaphor, particularly metaphors of time. Out of the classroom I enjoy spending time in nature, caring for house plants and creating pottery.

Qualifications:Higher School of Economics Moscow, School of Foreign Languages, BA in Foreign Languages and Intercultural Communication, Majoring in Theories and Methods of teaching English
