With a great thirst for knowledge and adventure, I find myself often escaping into a good book as a means of shutting the world out. I also love spending time with friends and family, eating good food and exploring new places. Compassion and integrity are very important to me and I hope to pass on to my students the importance of being kind to others while knowing who you are and what you stand for. I believe in collaborative learning, wherever possible, and being open to let the students' prior knowledge and experiences guide our teaching, when necessary. Children who are actively engaged in the learning process are more likely to gain something from the lesson.

Qualifications:Bachelor of Arts in English and Psychology from Rhodes University South Africa; PGCE (Post Graduate Certificate in Education) from Rhodes University South Africa
