"In my world there are no bad kids, just impressionable, conflicting young people wrestling with emotions and impulses, trying to communicate their feelings and needs the only way they know how." This quote speaks volumes to me. I have been working as a psychologist and a teacher for many years (8 of them at ISM) with children of different nationalities and ages; including cuddly toddlers, curious pre-schoolers, obstinate adolescents, children from disadvantaged families and university students. I have learnt to consider each of them as an individual and as an incredibly important and special person. I strive to find an approach for each of them to provide positive support and reinforcement. I believe that every problem can be viewed as a maths problem; which ultimately has a solution that can be discovered together by working with the individual.
Besides my work, I love new cities, cozy places, kind eyes, interesting books and fascinating films.
