Mr. Koch has been a high school English teacher for over 30 years in Japan, Korea, the UK, and Germany. He has traveled extensively throughout the world and prides himself on the education he has received that has allowed him to do so. He has a BA in English from Colby College, an M.Ed. from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. He is certified to teach in grades 7-12 and has spent a year's time at the Shakespeare Institute in Stratford-upon-Avon, England in pursuit of a Master's degree in Shakespeare Studies.
In most of his overseas positions, Mr. Koch specialized in the Advanced Placement Language and Literature classes. He has also been coaching boys' varsity sports teams outside of the classroom. He is an avid musician and enjoys all kinds of outdoor activities.
