My teaching philosophy is motivated by the desire to foster in children the courage to grow beyond their perceived potential. I put this into practice by cultivating an imaginative, active learning environment that rewards risk and celebrates mistakes as opportunities to learn. Beyond the classroom, I am an avid cyclist and traveller (lately combining the two) who loves to cook – whether on a camp stove or at home. I really enjoy working every day with staff and students from around the world.
