In order to re-energise and reunite students after a challenging few years filled with quarante and year group ‘bubbles’, we decided to dedicate an entire week of school time to spirit-raising activities. On Monday, everyone wrote down their favourite memories from their time at ISM, together with a few inspirational messages for others. These were then displayed on a noticeboard for everyone to see. It was a terrific opportunity to remind students why they can be proud to be a part of the ISM community and to give new students something to look forward to.
Students also participated in inter-house sporting competitions throughout the week and showed great sportsmanship and enthusiasm. Students from all four houses showed equal determination and competitive drive and were rewarded with first-place victories across several year groups.
On Wednesday, students spent the morning writing letters in both Russian and English to show appreciation for the hard-working staff of ISM. The messages were put on display in the school as a reminder that appreciation for the effort and care that is put into making our school spotless, and providing healthy delicious food, is year-round. The cleaning and canteen staff really appreciated all the kind messages received.
