Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No, it's Super Year 2!

They really were super on the last day before our half term holiday. They came dressed up as their superheroes and wore their self designed capes and masks ready to take on any challenge throughout the day. In our superhero training camp, students had to jump through a ring of fire (ie jump through a hoop onto a crash mat), dodge danger (dodgeball), jump as far as they could across the fire pit, throw Captain America’s shield into a target and balance, duck, crawl and dive around an obstacle course. 

If that was not enough for them they all then met real-life superheroes! The local emergency services came to show the children all the things they do to save people in Bangkok. The policemen showed how they keep us safe and catch criminals using their radios and handcuffs. The firefighters showed us the tools and clothing they use to stop fires. The ambulance team showed us how they respond to sick people and any accidents. All the teams brought along their special vehicles and were delighted when the Year 2 children asked questions about the superhero roles they have in our society.

Thanks to all the teachers, family support, IT department, estates and transport department for organising such a great event for the children.
