Just as we had Year 3 students going away on the first school residential, our Year 13 Thai boys undertaking their Thai military Service went on their ROTC Training Camp. They spent five days with a group of our Thai teachers who have already been trained by military camp officers to guide our students through the preparation and participation in official military service training.

The school provides this opportunity for Thai nationals who wish to fulfil their Thai military service requirement while they are still studying at school. This is done through a series of courses and camps which the Thai boys have to attend over three years. If correctly followed with full participation in all the army training and exercises, these young men will have successfully completed their military service before graduating from high school, thereby allowing them to go on to higher educational studies and university. It is a tough course, but a worthwhile one in which students can get their military service completed early. Well done to all our Thai students who have participated thus far.
