This week during Thai lesson, Khroo Na and the Foundation Stage 1 (FS1) children visited the garden. They were so excited to see our STA homegrown plants flourishing in the Year 5 Thai Garden plot. The children enjoyed learning about shapes, colours, and the smell of different plants. Moreover, they practised their fine motor skills by picking, cutting, shredding and pounding the leaves of Thai sweet basil.
In addition, the Year 5 students are also happy to know that their planting plot has been visited by the FS1 children. This makes them want to continue growing some more plants indefinitely and hopefully there will be more groups of students visiting and gaining more knowledge in the garden.
