A conference to launch a collective, strategic and sustainable vision and strategy for developing inclusion globally across Nord Anglia Schools. This 'Call to Action' is an invitation for Senior Leaders, Inclusion Leaders/ SENCO's, Learning Support Coordinators, and members of the Central team.
Aims of the Conference
1. Setting a vision that correlates with the NAE 4 pillars, relates to the Diversity, Equality and Inclusion Policy, and provides a profitability model within each school context for the development of neurodiversity and inclusion at its core of education.
2. To create a neurodiversity channel on Global Campus providing a solid research-based introduction for all NAE staff about Inclusion and Neurodiversity as part of induction training.
3. An agreement across NAE schools of consistent terminology, vision and approach that holds neurodiversity and inclusion at its core.
Conference Dates and Schedule of Events
Friday 10th November 2023
• Invited delegates arrive in Bangkok. Accommodation is at the Avani Sukhumvit Bangkok Hotel (On Nut) for 2 nights.
• Welcome dinner on Friday evening (Cabbages and Condoms).
Saturday 11th November 2023
• Welcome by keynote speaker and the rest of the conference will be a mixture of workshops, with the focus on setting a vision that correlates with the NAE 4 pillars, relates to Diversity, Equality and Inclusion Policy, and provides a profitability model within each school context for the development of neurodiversity and inclusion at its core of education.
• Discuss how to build upon the new Neurodiversity Channel for CPD and teacher training mandatory courses for all new employees of NAE.
Sunday 12th November 2023
• Delegates will discuss consistent terminology, vision and next steps.
• Conference day ends at 11:00 am.
