Importance of Regular Physical Activity & Exercise
It is no secret that physical activity and exercise are vital for the physical health and wellbeing of us all, especially children as they grow and develop rapidly, however at a time like this we should also be very aware of the emotional and psychological implications of a quarantine. Having to sit at a laptop for hours each day is clearly not an ideal environment for learning however we need to adapt and adjust to this, something I believe our students have been great at. Weekly Newsletter (23th of October 2020)
Dear parents,
We have reached the end of another highly successful week of extracurricular activities, with average daily numbers showing over a third of students in each year group attending. Secondary students have enjoyed connected activities, practicing mindfulness, and also activities to mix with friends old and new. Primary have been loving different games and activities prepared by their teachers and coming up with new games of their own. All of these activities will allow the children to be better prepared when we do return to school, partially or full time. If you didn’t take advantage of these first sessions, then there is still time for most to attend another session next week.

BCB Weekly Newsletter (16th of October 2020)
Dear Parents,
Welcome back after what I hope was a fantastic break for everyone and at least an opportunity was taken for some rest and relaxation. Mrs. West and I headed to Santos and Guaruja and for me the highlight was visiting the home of Pele, learning more about him at the museum and seeing all the recognition he received for his contributions, to sport of course, but also other notable things he did to contribute to society. This is what we aim for all our students, your children, that they become future leaders and also contribute to the wider world as responsible global citizens.
