Carnival 2018

Our traditional colourful parade took place at the Chcara Flora Campus, while Manda Chuva Drum Band played cheerful samba tunes. It was great to see high levels of participation and sense the outstanding community feel of our Primary School. We all felt a great deal of pride - it is such a privilege to be part of BCB.The first house to parade was the Vikings followed by Romans, Normans and finally the Saxons. It was a sunny day. All the students, parents and teachers were wearing beautiful masks, hats and costumes. They showed their best dancing, cheering and proudly chanted their house names. The competition categories were participation, enthusiasm and the quality of the masks created by the children.At the end of the spectacle, it was time for the judges to decide the 2018 BCB Carnival Champions. After discussion, they announced the big winner of the day: The Normans! Congratulations Normans and also felicitations to all houses for their effort - the Carnival Parade was a great success.
