World Children’s Day — a day for children, by children — is almost here, and our schools are all taking part!
Together, students around the world will be making their opinions heard once again. With the fantastic success of ‘Kids Take Over’ last year for World Children’s Day, Nord Anglia Education students are planning special #NAEKidsTakeOver events in their schools.
These events are part of UNICEF's World Children's Day campaign to raise awareness of children's rights.
More specifically, students will aim to raise awareness and challenge people to take action on the UN Sustainable Development Goals, which encourage us to play an active role in making the world a better place by 2030. The call to action also coincides with the anniversary of the adoption of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child.
Using the hashtag #NAEKidsTakeOver, we are confident our students’ efforts will evolve into a sustainable ‘student voice’ campaign, which truly taps into what World Children’s Day is all about.
Students, teachers and parents: be sure to join the conversation on 20 November on social media using the hashtags #NAEUNICEF #NAEKidsTakeOver #WorldChildrensDay #GlobalGoals.
