We are delighted to share with you the first set of IGCSE results achieved by The British College of Brazil pupils.
IGCSEs are the gold standard qualification for 14 to 16 year olds. They are also the first step towards gaining entry to universities worldwide.
Pupils at BCB achieved a 100% pass rate with an A*-A pass rate of 38% (the average A*-A pass rate last year in the UK was 22%), and an A*-C pass rate of 92% (the average A*-C pass rate last year in the UK was 66%).
Therefore, it is fair to say that BCB's pupils have achieved significantly better than other pupils of their age around the world.
This result also showcases the difference that Nord Anglia Education schools bring to students’ academic results.
“ I am delighted with these results and heartily congratulate all those who have received their results today - well done all!" - Duncan Rose.
