Students at The British College of Brazil, part of the global Nord Anglia Education family of schools, are celebrating today after receiving their long-awaited IGCSE results early this week.

Our students have achieved incredible results in their  IGCSE's.

  • 100% pass rate.
  • 32% A* - A
  • 85% A* - C

A huge congratulations to our students for a job well done!

Mr. Nick West,  Principal of School at The British College of Brazil said:

"It is an absolute honour for me taking over the position of Principal of a school well known for its high level of academic achievement whilst maintaining a strong holistic approach for its students. I can only see a bright future for BCB when it has delivered such great results on its first and second ever cohorts of IGCSE students.

With a passionate highly skilled and dedicated team of staff, building expertise and skills from Nursery all the way through to iGCSE and IB, we have an extremely strong future ahead of us and will continue to build on these great results.

With our students also fast approaching their first examinations to enter the top universities around the world, I am looking forward to being part of this journey and making sure we give all the knowledge, skills and tools they need to become great citizens prepared for the challenges of a world in constant change, and to make a positive impact on the society they live in.

Well done everyone!"

These IGCSE results follow the announcement in July on the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme, in which NAE students achieved a pass rate of 94 per cent,  well above the global average of 77.4 per cent last year. Our average point score of 33 was higher than the IB global average of 29.9 points, widening the gap between our schools and other IB schools around the world.

As part of a global family of schools, Nord Anglia Education students excel. Our educational approach enables every student to reach high levels of academic, personal and social success. We offer rigorous and compelling curricula which are respected by the world's top universities, and encourage critical thinking, teamwork and leadership.
