MIT Challenge - Living in Space

MIT Challenge - Living in Space Today was an exciting day for our primary students at BCB.  We officially launched our first MIT Challenge of the year and it is called Living in Space, inspired on researches from the MIT Expert Dr. Ariel Ekblaw.

Today was an exciting day for our primary students at BCB.  We officially launched our first MIT Challenge of the year and it is called Living in Space, inspired on researches from the MIT Expert Dr. Ariel Ekblaw.

The desired outcome is to get students planning and designing an object to be used in the International Space Station to improve the human experience away from Earth in fields such as food, sports & exercise and art.

To reach that, students must follow some project based learning steps that will be gradually disclosed on our Monday Assemblies and via e-mail.

This year all NAE schools are running this simultaneously and for the first part of this challenge, children will need to come up with three questions about traveling and living in space and send their questions to MIT via Global Campus. Hopefully, Ariel and her team will pick some questions from students around the world and answer them in a very special video for the next part of this challenge.

Put your spacesuit on and join us on this incredible journey!
