Daily Meal Service by HNF
BSKL has three dining hallsmanaged by HNF CateringSdn Bhd. You have the option to purchase morning snacks, lunch sets, a noodle dish, a panini, or a chef’s special each day from one of our dining halls.
HNF prepares hot, international style food on site. Their menus are regularly checked by independent experts to ensure our students receive a balanced, healthy, and nutritional meal. They use a traffic light system so that students understand the nutritional impacts of what they're eating. They also have a nutritionist on-site at BSKL to check that meals meet the nutritional needs of children during each stage of their physical development.
HNF also caters for children with a variety of dietary restrictions (whether for health, religious, or allergy reasons). HNF only serves meals that are pork-free and nut-freewith Halal certification.
Meals in the dining halls are purchased using a cash-less school ID card (powered by Vircle)that is provided to each student.

Early Years lunches are served family-style
Servings of each menu offering are set on the table and teachers help students who bought a meal to serve themselves
Year 1 and Year 2 students will go through the serving line and choose from a Western, Asian, or Vegetarian set meal
Students do not need to pre-order food, they just need to have money added to the Vircle account.
Lower Hill Campus Dining Hall Options and Pricing
Morning Snack available from 3-5RM with the option for an item from the Asian Delight, Protein Power, or Morning Bakery menu
Lunch set for 15RM
Includes a main dish, sides,a dessertand free flow drink
Western, Asian, or Vegetarian menu options served daily
Noodle Station option for 8RM
Panini Counter option for 12RM
Chef Special option for 10RM
Students will go through the serving line or to the food station of the item they plan to choose

Secondary School Campus Dining Hall Options and Pricing

Bringing lunch from home
In addition to the food served in our dining halls, parents have the option to send their children to school with a healthy, nut-free, and pork-free lunch and a morning snack.
Outside Food Deliveries
Students will not be able to receive food deliveries from Grab, Food Panda, Beep, Air Asia Food, or any other outside food delivery service.
Parent cafés
HNF operates three cafés at BSKL. Parents and students can use cash, credit cards, or their Vircle cards to make purchases at the cafés.
Vircle app
HNF's point of sale machines in the dining halls are cash-less. They use Vircle’s software to track purchases and receive payments. All student and parent ID cards are compatible with the Vircle e-wallet system.
One parent will need to download and set up the Vircle app to add money to your child's account. You can download the Vircle user guide here, or visit one of our front desks to set up your child's account.
You donot need to download and set up the Vircle app if your child will not purchasefood from our dining halls.
If a student forgets their ID card or has an insufficient balance HNF will provide food and manually record their purchase up to a 50RM credit in the dining hall only (not at the cafes). Once they exceed the credit limit they will not be able to purchase items until the balance is paid.
