Sports expedition - Objective 4000 A group of students from grades 11 to 14 —accompanied by Samy, one of our sports instructors, and two professional mountain guides— carried out a difficult and adventurous weekend expedition in the Swiss Alps.

A group of students from grades 11 to 14 —accompanied by Samy, one of our sports instructors, and two professional mountain guides— carried out a difficult and adventurous weekend expedition in the Swiss Alps. 

In changing weather conditions, which forced them to modify the original itinerary, the whole group walked, climbed and skied in defiance of the 3,000+ meter altitude and exhaustion. The trek was the equivalent of the famous Swiss "Little Glacier Patrol" for 14- to 20-year-old, a ski-mountaineering race organized every two years by the Swiss Armed Forces. 

This expedition exposed the young students to a new and physically demanding sport, combining technique and self-transcendence in an unspoilt setting.
