BTEC PROGRAMMES

St Andrews is one of the only schools in Thailand to offer internationally-recognised BTEC qualifications. This gives our students the option to follow high-quality vocational pathways to university and beyond.

OUR BTEC PROGRAMMES

An official BTEC centre, St Andrews has delivered BTEC qualifications to Year 7 to 13 students since 2017. We also offer BTEC Level 2 and 3 subjects as part of our Year 10 to 13 curricula. In 2019, we were recognised at the Pearson Education Awards for being the first school in Bangkok to graduate BTEC students.

THE BTEC EXPLAINED

The BTEC qualification was established in 1996. It's an internationally recognised, career-focused programme that can be studied alongside other qualifications to create a broad academic high school portfolio.

The BTEC approach is very practical. Your child will develop career-based competencies by applying what they've learnt in the classroom to real-life scenarios. Our Year 12 and 13 BTEC programme, which runs alongside our IBDP courses, offers an additional pathway to outstanding career or university destinations.
