Stephen Cairns

Mr. Cairns has 14 years of experience working in education in China, and prior to that he had spent 11 years as a Police Officer back in his home country of Scotland. He loves teaching and has never regretted this career change. He has a Bachelor’s degree in Land Economics followed up with a Master’s in Applied Linguistics and TESOL from an English university which has expanded his knowledge of the challenges facing students who are learning in a second language.

Steven’s wife is from Dalian and they are lucky to have two children. Steven loves to spend time outdoors hiking or biking or in his home gym. His previous positions were an ESL teacher and Head of ESL recruitment.
