EARLY YEARS AND NURSERY SCHOOL CURRICULUM IN BANGKOK

At St Andrews International School Bangkok, our early years curriculum nurtures every aspect of our youngest students’ development. They’ll develop vital cognitive, social, and physical skills, too, hitting key EYFS developmental milestones.

At our international nursery school in Bangkok, students follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum. This has three age groups: Foundation Stage 1, Foundation Stage 2, and Foundation Stage 3.

Throughout their Foundation Stage education, our teachers will guide your child through seven key learning and development areas.

The seven EYFS areas:
  • Communication and language.
  • Physical development.
  • Personal, social, and emotional development.
  • Literacy.
  • Maths.
  • Understanding the world.

The early years is a time of amazing change and growth. At our international preschool, each child is treated as an individual, and we make sure they learn in a way and at a pace that’s right for them. In our fun, safe, and stimulating learning environment, our students develop healthy relationships and make remarkable progress.

Our children hit their seven EYFS areas by playing, getting active, and doing activities that get them thinking creatively. The importance of play cannot be overstated. Our curriculum encourages discovery, multi-sensory exploration, and role-play, which develops their physical growth, communication and language, and personal, social, and emotional skills.

The great outdoors
Our youngest ones love making new discoveries in our outdoor play space. The mud kitchen is the perfect spot for messy play, where our children get tactile with water, sand, and paint, and let their imaginations run wild.

Energy to explore
It’s time to rest, refresh, and refuel. Your child will enjoy a nutritious mid-morning snack and freshly prepared lunch, which will give them the energy they need to learn, play, and explore.

Formative firsts
Every day is packed with formative ‘first’ experiences. In our gardening area, green fingers will plant seeds and connect with nature. Our children run, jump, and climb in our colourful soft play area. And they get an early introduction to healthy eating in our cooking room.

Trying out tech
Our littlest learners delve into the world of modern technology from an early age. In our computer pod zone, your child will create and collaborate, safely using tablets, ergonomically designed keyboards, and simple coding devices.

Our colourful early years setting is the perfect place to learn. The purpose-built spaces and age-appropriate facilities at our international nursery in Bangkok play host to a myriad of inspiring creative and collaborative activities every day.

In our soft play area, children develop their gross motor skills and grow in physical confidence. Our outdoor play zone is great for tactile play, with a mud kitchen, painting zone, gardening area, and sandpit.
