Machine Learning Course out of date now
Year 10 GCSE artists and photographers have been investigating portraiture with a difference.
It is common in GCSE Art and Photography to create work within an open ended theme. A few weeks ago our young creatives in Year 10 were asked to investigate a variety of ways of creating portraits, with a particular focus on how mood or emotion can be expressed. The results so far, shown below, demonstrate not only how effectively our students are communicating moods and meanings, but also how personal and refined their work is becoming. (Artwork and photography by Gam, Hannah, Angelo, Romi, Minnie, Noodee, Ronit, Erik, Ashwin)
This year's FOBISIA Primary Poetry Competition invited students in Key Stage 2 to write poems around the theme 'Where I Go'. They could interpret this in any way they wished. There were two categories: Years 3&4 and Years 5&6.
Year 2 students opened the morning by performing some fantastic songs capturing the spirit of the Expo. They showed their parents all they have learnt about the tropical minibeasts that live around us.
All of this wonderful activity is gradually building momentum for the Summer Art Festival, which will culminate in a showcase of music, dance and drama in the theatre on Wednesday 14th June.
