A Mathtastic Time at STA Primary!

Last Friday, the primary campus was awash with hats for Maths Day. It was wonderful to see so many students getting involved. Class teachers had prepared exciting yet challenging mathematical investigations, scavenger hunts and much more for the children to take part in. The day ended with a KS2 Times Tables House Championship, which, as always, was hosted by Mr Phil. There were some hard-fought battles with children furiously competing against the clock and the other houses.

A Mathtastic Time at STA Primary!

It was great to see so many different shapes and sizes of maths hats coming into the school. The activities throughout the day were really enjoyable, and everyone discovered something new about the areas of Maths they were investigating.

St Andrews Primary School celebrated on Friday the first Spanish Language Day, for the occasion of the UN Spanish Language Day which is celebrated internationally to honour the 21 countries where it is the official language.
