Year 3 Enjoy their Greek Day

This term has seen our youngest Key Stage 2 pupils become historians as they learn about the Ancient Greeks. Over the course of the term the children have learnt to sequence events in chronological order, creating their own timelines, researching the different Greek Gods and Goddesses and writing their own Greek fables and myths.

To end our fun topic we had GREEK DAY on the penultimate day of term. The children arrived at school dressed up in their best Greek costumes and enjoyed fun activities including food making and tasting, sketching and laurel wreath making. We ended the day with a Greek Day assembly for parents. It was a fun day enjoyed by all and we are all looking forward to our Term 3 Expo! A huge well done to our Year 3 pupils and a massive thank you to Mr Top for the amazing photos and Ms Anna and the music department.
