How has St Andrews helped prepare you for university?

I’ve gained quite a lot of critical thinking skills and teamwork at this school, as it’s one of the main soft skills St Andrews emphasizes on. This helped me to propel in my university interviews and extracurriculars.

What have you learned from Senior Studies?

I’ve learnt a lot of time management and coping strategies due to the large workload you receive in the IBDP curriculum. These helped me go forward with my studies smoothly, and made me enjoy my final two years in High School.

Your plans for university or after graduation?

I hope to continue my work as an event planner or be a part of a project committee like how I was at St Andrews, and also to do well in university as a medical student.

Favourite memory from STA?

Spirit week :) I worked on all the projects and gave the final speech and it was a very fun and memorable experience.

Any advice for students going into IB or Year 12s?

Try academic competitions! You’ll meet a variety of amazing people in different fields, and gain a ton of opportunities from all around the world. Do it! If you’re scared, do it scared.
