The fieldtrip to the River Paraitinga was a rewarding experience during challenging conditions. The students were collecting data for their coursework as part of the IGCSE/IBDP Geography curriculum. Although parts of the river course were difficult for staff and students to access, everyone got involved in one way or another.
Students were investigating whether the River Paraitinga conforms to Bradshaw's Model, and have taken away many insights which will help them in the write-up over the coming weeks.
Feeling satisfied by the end of the day, the fieldtrip was a success. The exhausted Mr Goodson, Mr Jones, Miss Colford and all of the BCB Geography students thought this was a trip worth waiting for!
