The MIT STEAM Challenge for 2023-2024 has been unveiled! Thanks to our exclusive collaboration with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, every year our students receive a fresh challenge to sharpen their STEAM skills (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics).

The first month of extracurricular activities is already in full swing! From joyous moves on the dance floor to the thrill of a tennis stroke and the creative world of crochet, our primary and secondary students are exploring, learning and having a blast.

With the autumn semester comes a new calendar of cultural trips! Traditionally, the last week of September is an exciting period of learning through travel. 

Our 12th French Baccalaureate and 13th International Baccalaureate students left their classrooms recently for an outdoor adventure in our Forest School area. 

After a 100% success rate in the Swiss Maturité exams last March, it's now the turn of our students in the French Baccalauréat and International Baccalaureate (IB) sections to shine!

With the start of the school year, we are pleased to welcome among our new staff members our new chef Jean-Clément Linder, in charge of the school food outlets.

More than 260 members of the Champittean community —including students, parents, staff and alumni— participated in the famous 20KM of Lausanne in a festive and joyful atmosphere.

This month’s Cultural Season brought us a dazzling concert not to be missed.

My colleagues and I voted on what we thought was the most promising theme for the next school year: wellbeing and mental strength. The two go hand in hand.

From 13 to 19 April, the 12th European Girls’ Mathematical Olympiad took place in Slovenia.

Our annual Sports Day at Collège Champittet was an absolute blast. From preschool to 4th grade, and all the way up to 13th grade, our students showcased their athletic prowess and had an unforgettable day filled with thrilling activities.

Our students from grades 8 to 12 embarked on a remarkable cultural trip to Sicily, the captivating land that holds the key to European civilization's diverse heritage!

We would like to give a huge congratulations to our boarding student Nikita V. who has represented his home country Lithuania in the Ice Hockey U18 World Championship (Division II, Group A) in Belgrade.

On April 26, over 30 volunteer leaders, including alumni and parents of current students, from various industries, shared their professional experiences and offered career tips to our Champitteans. The Career Day was an opportunity for students to ask questions about career choices, education, and locations where the presenters have lived.
