You know the famous quote attributed to Winston Churchill: "A pessimist sees difficulty in every opportunity, an optimist sees opportunity in every difficulty." According to some studies, having low expectations of life prevents being "surprised bad" as we say in our canton.

The week of the 21 to 25 November all the children of Champittet Nyon were participating in litter pick-up around the school premises.

Over the course of the school year, in Champittet Nyon, we work through many fun and interesting themes. A way to engage and capture children’s interest and enthusiasm is through story time. Below are some of my favourite books to read with young children.

From myth to technology: from Babel to DeepL

On the occassion of the “Dare to do all jobs” day —organized by the Office for Gender Equality of the canton Vaud—, seven students from 7 to 9 grades joined the school' s benches to discover the many different professions that can be found within an educational institution.
